I would like to welcome you to Pre-k. My name is Tammy DeRamus, I am a mother of three and this will be my 20th year teaching in the beautiful Lake Worth School District. I taught Kindergarten for 8 years and this will be my 12th year in Pre-K. Early Childhood is the most important time for your child. During these formative years, your child's ability to learn is at the highest. Your child's language skills and vocabulary are best increased and improved by reading and talking to your child. Studies have shown that when parents are involved in their child's education that children are more likely to be successful. I encourage you to read to your child daily, talk with him/her about his day, and come visit our classroom. Help your child get the most out of Pre-K by being well-rested and on time.
