Texas Attendance Code:
According to TEC. Section 25.092. Minimum Attendance for Class Credit:
“a student may not be given credit for a class unless the student is in attendance for at least 90 percent of the days the class is offered.”
This is a friendly reminder that if your child’s attendance falls below 90% of attendance as required by the state, your child could possibly be affected by being retained next year or other actions may be taken against you and/or your child.
This matter can be resolved by your child attending school as many days as possible until the end of the school year.

Segun el TEC (Código Educacional de Texas). Sección 25.092, La Asistencia Mínima par Obtener Crédito por la Clase:
“no se le puede otorgar crédito a un alumno por una clase al menos que el alumno asista por lo menos el 90% de los días que se ofrece la clase.”
Este es un recordatorio amistoso que si la asistencia baja a menos del 90% como lo requiere la ley estatal, su hijo/a posiblemente puede ser afectado/a con ser reprobado el próximo año, o se puede tomar otras acciones contra usted y/o su hijo/a.
Este asunto puede ser resuelto con que su hijo/a asista a la escuela cuantos más días le sean posible hasta el fín del año escolar.
