Dear Private Non-Profit School Provider:

This notice serves to announce that private non-profit school providers within the Lake Worth ISD boundary are invited to participate under several programs included in the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) as well as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, Part B (IDEA-B). 

We are required to consult together with interested private non-profit school providers to determine equitable participation services for eligible private school students and, as applicable, their teachers and parents. LWISD is responsible for the administrative oversight of the ESEA and IDEA-B program(s) in the Private Nonprofit School.

We will have a meeting to explain ESEA and IDEA funding and discuss how to access Title I, II, III and/or IDEA-B services. This initial meeting will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the LWISD Administration Building.

We invite you to attend this meeting, as well as share this information with anyone who may benefit from Title I, II, III and/or IDEA-B services.
