Parental Involvement Letter
Testing for Home Schooled Students
Lake Worth High School allows home schooled students to participate in PSAT / NMSQT or any college advanced placement test that the school administers if space is available. Please contact the campus testing coordinator for questions.
Electronic Courses
The Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN) will provide additional opportunities and options for Texas students through online courses. TxVSN was authorized by the Texas Legislature in 2007 to provide online courses to students in Texas. Lake Worth High School participates in the Texas Virtual School Network. For information regarding course offerings please contact the Lake Worth High School counselors.
College Credit Programs
Dual Enrollment (DE) is an additional option for high school students to earn both high school and college credit for the same course. The Lake Worth High School dual credit program is a partnership between Tarrant County College Northwest Campus and Lake Worth High School to provide juniors and seniors with an opportunity to earn simultaneous academic credit from both Tarrant County College and Lake Worth Independent School District. For information regarding course offerings and qualifications please contact the Career & Technical Education coordinator at Lake Worth High School.

PSAT: October 12, 2011
ACT April 14, 2012 given at Lake Worth High School. Deadline to register is March 9, 2012.
The next SAT is May 5, 2012, not given at LWHS. Deadline to register is April 6. 2012.

Calculus AB - Wednesday, May 9 morning session
English Literature and Composition - Thursday, May 10 morning session
United States History - Friday, May 11 morning session
